Beautiful and quiet place on the water with a lovely host. I had a wonderful time with Martha. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The surrounding environment is beautiful! The hostess is kind!

Now the room is very hot in June and the toilet in the room smells too strong! You have to buy your own water!

Beautiful guesthouse on the water, perfect for friends to share a calm and relaxing dorm. The well-equipped, clean kitchen was great for cooking our own meals, saving on expensive island restaurants. The owner, Marca, was very friendly and helpful.

I really loved Martha's place. She is just the sweetest host ever. Her English is strong enough to make a good conversation and she is always concerned about your happiness. The hostel is simple, calm and super close to the town. If you want to be close to the parties (or not :p ) and have a quiet and relaxing time, this is the place. Often there is a very nice breeze, the hostel is really ON the water, which cools it off and the wave sound creates a good sleep. Keep in mind that this hostel is very basic, you can cook there, there is a blender, toaster and sandwich machine (and off course a fridge) I will be returning to Bocas in about a month and this is the place I will book again.

I can't really come up with anything negative. But I can understand that the hostel is not for everyone.
