Peter's Hostel

A good price-performance ratio: - Very good location - Very charming place, nice view - Clean rooms - A lot of activities can be booked - Ecological place (solar energy) - Everything inside (kitchen, bathrooms) etc

Some incompetent staff - Disappointed with the staff. Some were very nice, but other staff who were incompetent. There is a person at the reception who forgot to register us for the next day's activity, we had to get up at 5:30 a.m. so that in the end we understood that we were not registered for the tour and that we did not couldn't do it (even though we had paid). The staff that morning didn't really look for a solution and didn't seem to care much. - Wi-Fi didn't work that much - because of solar energy, shower were cold at night (but we were informed)

The hostal situation

The weird atmoshere present there. Everyone who works there just ignore you and doesn't invite you to stay longer. On top of this, the showers are cold, and the breakfast is very disappointing. I do not recommend to stay more than a night, very bad experience.

At Peter's Hostel the staff were super friendly. Everyone said hi and we had pleasant conversations, and they also helped us book a rafting tour. The room itself was comfortable and the location was right in the center of town. We were uncertain about booking a place with a shared bathroom, but the facilities were kept very clean.

At night, there was quite a lot of loud music, although that's not really the fault of the hostel. The rooms didn't have a ton of space to put baggage on so my stuff had to be left on the floor. Overall, small things could be better but can't argue with the price.

can’t find an accommodation for much less in arequipa then Peter’s. staff was very friendly and the washrooms could of been cleaner but it was okay.

Good location, really nice terrace, helpful staff. Big lockers in the room.

I booked two nights in female dotm. First night they sent in a guy but they changed his room when I told him it was a femakle room. Day 2 there are three guys in the room. A lot of people were just moved around, there seemed to be some confusion. Breakfast was not the best, but alright. No socket near the bed.

lovely and quiet hostel in a great location. The breakfast was great and the shared bathrooms are very clean.

only the pillows weren’t great , that’s it!
