Big Mountain Hostel

Hostel room was decent.

Kitchen was quite poorly manage. Would be nice to have soap in the bathroom toilet.

Lugar super agradable, lo recomiendo al 100% Viajo de Costa Rica, los administradores muy serviciales! Tiene todo lo que un mochilero ocupa para sus trekking en Huaraz. La ubicación del lugar es super cómoda para diferentes servicios 🏔️✔️

Superbe auberge de jeunesse Le personnel est accueillant, sympathique et de bons conseils. La chambre était bien agencée et spacieuse, le lit confortable et la salle de bain très bien (il manquerait juste une ou plusieurs étagères dans la salle de bain pour que ça soit parfait). Il y a beaucoup d'espaces de vie (à chaque palier) qui sont très agréables, il y a une bonne ambiance générale mais pour autant le soir il n'y a pas trop de bruit. Le petit déjeuner est compris dans le prix ce qui est super. Il y a aussi une grande cuisine à disposition. Bref, auberge de jeunesse parfaite pour tous.tes les baroudeurs.euses qui souhaitent un pied à terre confortable pour aller randonner autour de Huaraz.

Il manque de rangement dans la salle de bain (mais c'est vraiment pour trouver du négatif, sinon tout est parfait)

Habitación sucia, ruidosa, sábanas sucias, baño sucio. La ventana tenía un agujero y entraba ruido de la calle

It is a very social hostel. The staff is great and they even remembered my name. They clean the room once a day. All the rooms have a private toilet. They have a Terrasse, plenty of spaces to hang out and socialise, a billiard table, table football, ping pong, etc. location is amazing, in the midst of the centre and close to everything. Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

It is a bit noisy and in my room we heard the music of the restaurant until about 11pm.

Gutes Hostel mit super Preis-/Leistungsverhaeltnis, ich war insgesamt ca. 2 Monate dort. Die Mehrbettzimmer sind schoen gross, haben Schraenke fuer jeden Gast sowie Steckdose und Lampe fuer jedes Bett. Doppelzimmer sind auch gut. Unten befindet sich eine Agentur, wo man Touren buchen und Material leihen kann, ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Dort bekommt man auch ohne Buchung gute Infos. Die Mitarbeiter und der Besitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Kueche ist gut ausgestattet und sehr gross, das Fruehstueck recht einfach.

It’s good to have common areas and the bathroom in the room was reasonably clean. The location is central to shops and buses.

Personally I did not sleep well here, through a lack of comfort in the beds, and also poor ventilation, noise travelling from common areas. Poor breakfast, kitchen frequently messy.
