Big Mountain Hostel

I stayed in Big Mountain almost 1 week. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the whole hotel is spotless, they are always cleaning, perfect location near the center, cosy common areas, breakfast is simple but good, and the trekking&Tours company at ground floor is also super friendly and super convenient and helpful. Struttura situata in centro a Huaraz. Ho apprezzato la presenza di una agenzia di tour dove prenotare i trekking. Il personale é molto gentile. Cucina ampia e con tutto il necessario per cucinare.

La struttura é abbastanza fredda e spesso in bagno mancava la carta igienica, ma la colpa e sicuramente di chi la finisce e non ne chiede altra. Non so se ci fosse un orario di silenzio ma una sera c'è stata parecchia confusione a causa di una festa tra i ragazzi dell'ostello con chitarra e canti fino a tardi e avendo la camera vicino alla sala comune non é stato possibile dormire finché non hanno smesso.

La ubicación es perfecta, está muy cerca a la plaza y agencias de turismo

I stayed here 7 days. Near the bus station, near the mercado and center

Beds and pillows aren't comfortable. You can feel every movement if you have a bunk mate. Toilets barely flush. They charge you "18% tax from booking and hostel world bookings" even though there is not a mandatory tax in the country for visitors. Music plays loud until 1-3am. Kitchen is dark and outdated. Pool table only has one stick and table is warped. If you're on the second floor you'll hear everyone talking from all three floors. No where to put your things in the shower-only the ground. No towel offered. I wouldn't stay here again.

It is in the city centre, quite convenient. My bed n room are enough space. Big common areas n some game facilities, like snooker, rock climbing...

The hostal can accommodate lot of tourists, sometimes it is noisy.

é bem localizado no centro de huaraz, onde tem mercado, restaurantes e agencias de passeio. as camas tem cortinas o que é um ponto positivo para mais privacidade, o chuveiro de agua quente funcionava bem, limpeza sempre impecavel, todos os dias era limpo o banheiro. a internet funcionava bem, se eles investissem um local de trabalho mais adequado ia ser perfeito para nomades digitais ficarem lá, eu tive que trabalhar uns dias mas era dificil porque so tem uma mesa na cozinha. os funcionarios sao bons também.

por ser no centro de huaraz é muito barulhento era dificil dormir, buzina, carro gente falando alto de madrugada na rua, tambem no hostel na area de convivencia pessoas ficavam falando alto depois das 22h e nao havia uma advertencia de silencio, nao é bom para descansar faz muito barulho, eu fiquei 8 dias e já estava muito cansada nao consegui dormir bem nenhuma vez. o café da manha nao existe é muito fraco. a parte onde tem uma parede de escalada infelizmente fica fechada durante o dia só abrindo a noite, seria legal deixar essa parte livre para quem tem o dia sem passeios
