Sweet Love Family Budget

The location is Fantasic, the space was perfect for me, great room big half balcony windows that look onto the main pedestrian street in Coimbra lots of places to eat, get a coffee and pastry, and there is so much in that area to see culture, Arts and the wonderful Portuguese, The hosts where exceptional at messaging and where so helpful as I needed to leave items to collect later, I can not thank them enough, No hesitation in rebooking

After booking and paying for a night, Sweet Love cancelled our booking and have not given us a refund. We have tried relentlessly to call and email, no response. ????????

the location was perfect. close to the train station, and in the centre of the old city. a wonderful atmosphere and happy vib. I would recommend this place.

it would have been nice to have a “common room” with maybe a kettle to make a coffee. But with all the cafes so nearby, it wasn’t a problem.

convenient location, but LOUD, music playing from 9am-7pm at night. check in was confusing (hostel is not staffed must check in at a cafe that is not listed in the reservation) with zero communication before arrival. the building has steep stairs. bathrooms are shared, was given some towels and very basic shower gel and hand soap. the worst part of it was that the rooms are FREEZING, i came in april and was wearing my down jacket and four layers to sleep. the rooms have no heat or AC. I asked for a blanket or a heat dish and was ignored. this could have been a good experience since it is a beautiful room, but i got very little sleep and was miserable.

I booked to a family member, so I personally didn't stay there! But I have to say that the communication per messages and phone calls, were very polite, friendly and correct! Very open to find solutions to stay three days extra! Thanks to Sweet Love Family.

We booked a room with the balcony for a few days when we were visiting for my husband's birthday. We were given different room. There was no balcony. There was no heating or proper winter blankets, no extra blankets either. The room was freezing cold, we tried to sleep with our coats and used towels to stay warm, there was only a thin summer blanket. Next day we messaged the owner about the situation. We weren't given heating or extra blanket or even a response for hours. Because my husband got sick, we decided we can't sleep there another night. When we said we're leaving, the owner said they were going to start the refund process with Booking, which never happened. I sent follow up messages but I didn't get any response. Booking wasn't very helpful either. I don't recommend this place.

Its right in the center with a beautiful view. Everything was very cute and comfy. The owner was very friendly!

As the house is in the old town, it is old as well which means you hear lots of noises in the surrounding.

Nice place, comfortable bed, friendly hosts.
