HUThe breakfast was OK, the location is perfect, maybe the best place on the island. 2 volunteers were really nice.
If you didn't pay for the breakfast because you wanted to have yours you couldn't use the kitchen. The younger lady was really kind, the older wasn't.

The place was very old, and it smelled so strongly of cleaning products that you couldn't sleep.

NLIt's a very quiet place in the off season time. Very pleasant, helpful people working there. Very nice long sandy beach, actually quite often swimmable water and a hidden gem Zimbralinho beach that can be reached either by bike or even by foot. Probably the best place that I have worked from.
I could have been more social from the beginning. When there are a lot of people, it's a different place, different vibe, different type of fun, I guess. Not every evening is a super nice sunset in Calheta.
