Abisko net Hostel & Huskies

My experience in Abisko Hostel & Huskies was incredible. The magic of Abisko is the blue hole, which means in few minutes a cloudy sky becomes clear. Besides that, the zone is very dark which facilites the chances of seeing auroras nearby. For example, I saw one right in front of the hostel. I recommend Abisko a million times! Beds are ok, and kitchen are well-equiped to cook anything you need. There are things of common use as well as salt, oil, etc. They also have oven, stove and microwave available. Extra: the have snowshoes outside for public use in case you need them to walk in the forest.

There are two floors and only one bathroom per floor. In each floor there are approximately 18 beds, so sometimes you had to wait a little long for the bathroom. Shower is outside the building which is kind of inconvenient when you are with -15 celsius degrees outside. Another thing is that apart from men and women segregation, people of same gender have to share the shower next to. I opted for waiting and shower privately. It is a little far from Abisko national park. Abisko is separated in what I would call: abisko main and turiststation. This hostel (as many others) are in abisko main, but the entrance to the national park is in turiststation. This means that you have to walk for about 40 minutes to get to the entrance. There are other nice things to see in Abisko main, but if your main reason to go to Abisko is to do the ntional park, I recommend staying in Turiststation.

The room was just what we needed for our backpack travelling. I liked the shared kitchen, the room was robust, basic and clean.

The bathroom was outside in another building, while there are bathrooms on every floor, but they aren't used any more. Since the are there anyway it's a pitty not to use them.

Właściwie to nic, poza ciepłą wodą, ogrzewaniem obiektu oraz lokalizacją.

Tylko lokalizacja sprawiła, że zmuszone byłyśmy tu spać. Cena wydawałaby się też nie najgorsza, natomiast okazało się, że za zestaw pościeli (bez ręcznika) dla 1 osoby płacisz dodatkowo 110 nok. Oferta na Booking była również bezzwrotna więc spodziewałabym się lepszej jakości obiektu. Niestety poza dodatkowymi opłatami, łóżka w wieloosobowych pokojach są w jednym budynku, a zaledwie 2 prysznice w innym, więc trzeba się tam wybrać w kurtkach przy temperaturze -10. Pomieszczenie z prysznicami bardziej przystosowane do użycia przed/po saunie. I nie było zamykane, a prysznice nie były oddzielone żadnymi zasłonami. W pokoju okropny zaduch nieprzyjemny zapach starej wykładziny, cały obiekt brudny i zaniedbany, w kuchni ewidentnie tylko wymienia się tylko worek ze śmieciami. Pokoje również niezamykane w żaden sposób, każdy może sobie dowolnie wejść. Gdybym wiedziała, jak źle tu będzie, to nie zatrzymywałabym się w Abisko.

Muito próximo da estação, do lago e de hikings. Acessivel e muito bom custo benefício. Hospedes e trabalhadores muito gentis. Amei demais.
