Inncome Hostel

An applause for the receptionist. Hands down she is the nicest and kindest person to help you with whatever you need/want to know. She is also very funny and after a couple of days I realized she was calling me by my first name and all the other guest there as well. So she makes an effort to get to know you. I believe that’s why people keep extending here because she makes this place and makes me want to return and she seems like she is always there. When I wake up she’s there when I got to bed even when I do a late night run to 711 she’s there. Makes me happy to see her there, but also hoping she gets a break. I think I just did not see her 1 day during my stay. I also was going to do an overnight track and could not find a place to store my bag and she offered to store it for me. Also I liked how we could go to the gym as it was included in the hostel. It motivated me as everyone in the hostel kept asking if I went to the gym. Not in a mean way, it just motivated you to go to the gym. It seemed like everyone there motivated each other because when I came back from the guy another gym said. Now I feel like I needed to go, so it kind of builds a community. Though it’s not the gym bro vibe. It’s more like digital nomads being like man maybe I need to get in shape again. Lastly I loved the free chocolate milk, coffee and tea:)

I wished there were notes in the room about the AC. The AC worked amazingly but if there was a note as I seen in other hostel about keeping the AC about 23-25°C for everyone comfort that would have been amazing as some of my roommates would turn off the AC and they liked the room to be around 28-30°C . So two of us were sweating at night because of the AC not being on. I think because you only got a blanket maybe the other girls needed a comforter if we turned on the AC. So I think just a note on the room would have helped. Can’t think of anything else.

Dorm room was dark all the time.

Top 3 hostels that I’ve ever stayed

I stayed here for over a month in total and It’s my favourite hostal in Chiang Mai. The people, staff and facilities are all great. The bonus of gym membership included makes it really good value for money

The rooftop is great to chill and the free gym is a huge plus

The beds are super hard, and the hostel is next to the main road so it’s super loud all night because of the traffic

Everyone knows that the best part of this place is the receptionist- the most helpful, friendly, hilarious, beautiful soul! The hostel is very clean, the 4th floor gym is for free, the rooftop is cool. I spent there 7 nights and it was absolutely amazing. Very comfortable beds as well!

La recepcionista es muy amable y predispuesta. La ubicación es genial y tener un gimnasio es un gran plus ya que encima es de muy buena calidad. El personal de limpieza mantiene todo muy limpio. Realmente volveria a ir!

Apenas llegamos fuimos a una habitación que realmente olía muy mal pero al instante nos cambiaron de habitación por suerte, que huela mal no era su culpa sino de algun huesped y el rápido cambio de habitación en realidad es algo positivo para aclarar!

I liked the place, single beds, no bunk beds, very clean, it has a coffee area and a microwave which is helpful, the reception is helpful with tips, I loved the partnership with the gym next door, that partnership is super cool, the gym is well-equipped. For me, that was the key difference.

It would be nice to have curtains for more privacy between the beds, but nothing special with the ones that are already there.
