Star Orion Backpacker Hostel

Location more centrally located was nice.

Second evening/morning other patrons were louder and continually opening and closing doors. You can't control other people though, so no fault on the hostel.

This hostle is in the country side of the island. So, don't expect a city-like hostle. That being said, the hostle room is very clean. The beds are large, comfortable, and have curtains around them. The bathrooms are outside of the room and look a bit old, but nothing to complain from my side. There's a washing machine and also an area to wash off the sand from your body before entering your room or the bathroom. The hostle owner is a super kind and nice person! He let me check out later than the usual time because of my situation. My stay in this hostle was short, but great and also memorable.

So friendly environment! The owner was super nice, exchanged money for me when I needed because there’s no option to get it from the atm with foreign card. The other people who were staying there was also super nice and friendly! So I’d definitely come back again!

Great fellow welcomed and checked me in. I wish I got his Line! Bathroom was clean. Pillow and blanket were excellent. Seems to be a little settlement of small attached homes. Authentic experience.

Mattress gave a lot but was enough.

Showers weren’t the nicest, but for the price I can’t complain.

A very quiet, easy going place with a comfortable bed.

The place is in the center of the island, which means it's very far from everything. You need a scooter or prepare for long walks. There is no social action going on either, so it's not a genuine backpacker place but an isolated hut.
