Gulsara hostel

It is on good location to sightesee Samarkand. It is very near to Registon square, and you can go most of sighteseeing spots around Isrom Karimov road . Facility is well prepared, and you can enjoy, desks, WIFI, bathroom, and they are clean.

Sometimes, doors on the room are difficult to open. I recommended hotel owner to change carpenter. This hotel is run by familly. And sometimes they are out. So, you need to call them if necessary.

A good place to stay.

The landlady is very kind and nice, she is very glad to help you a lot. It's cheap, but clean and tidy. The most important thing is, you only need to walk 300 meters to Registon.

The location.

This was one of our worst experience while travelling the world. The batroom extremely dirty, uncomfortable and the stench from the canal was so unbearable, that I almost threw up while taking a shower. The phone thats listed in Booking did not work and we waited in front while the guy from the butchers shop found the host. Check in takes about 30minutes. We did not get the room that we booked and we were told it was Booking's fault... I am having doubts whether I will continue using Booking after this. I am now certain that properties can pay for reviews, because I can't see anyone giving this hole a rating more than 2 and it has 8+ . I feel this is a rip off and corruption at it's finest and I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Host is really nice and engaging lady, who is interested in providing good services and friendly atmosphere. The room contains many amenities and is located close to most interesting points of the City. This place is definetely recommendable.

Everything was fine, nothing to complain about

The location

The location is good but it's not clean and the windows don't have curtains. For example in early morning when it's a little bright you can't sleep anymore. Everything is dirty and dusty. I booked a double bed room, but in the room were two beds, one single and one double bed, three pillows. Actually they weren't pillows, only bags with garbage inside. Three pillows, three different color bags. I don't know how this old building is in booking.com. It should be removed. I stayed 4 nights paid every night 35 dollars 💸 but she didn't clean even once. 4 days with only one roll of toilet paper. Bed sheets pillows bags were dirty and blotchy.. I have got two towels with tow different color and both of them dirty and blotchy. I can say more about it but it's not worth to write about it. Bathroom smelled very bad because a carpet was on the floor and got wet when washed myself. No window and air cleaner in Bathroom Just I horror and nightmare 4 nights.
