We had such a fun stay! Yuen went above and beyond and took us all over

The owners are very nice and friendly, they talk to everyone who stays there, so the atmosphere is very pleasant and you can socialize with everyone. They also rent motorcycles at a good price and can give you tips on what to do/visit.

I had a lovely, quiet room with all things I needed in great condition. There’s a lovely lush garden that each rooms opens up onto with a gorgeous little pond in the centre. The staff were particularly helpful and attentive, Doung noticing that there were a couple solo travellers made a group chat and frequently made suggestions and prompted us to do things altogether. Doung also attended to my needs, helped make calls and was essential to relieving some of my stress. A added bonus was the sweetest litter of five puppies that would excitedly greet or goodbye you every time.

If you are a solo traveller looking to meet people this place is perfect! The owner is really lovely, plans day trips and makes effort to get everyone in the hostel socialising :)

Vibe, people it attracts, Doung (owner) is absolutely amazing person with the right mindset for this kind of business and is just great to talk to him about the life. Will show you around and make it very hard for you to leave this place :D Best hostel I have ever been to by its vibes and people! <3

Really enjoyed my stay at the chill out hostel.. great place to stay and meet people. It was nice having the option for day trips from the hostel too (beach/paddle boarding etc). Wish I had stayed longer, would highly recommend!

Really loved this hostel. It’s very laid back and really a vibe (just as the name is saying) great place to meet new people. The owners are very sweet and really make the vibe even better, they will help you with everything. Rooms are clean and for a good price. Delicious breakfast! The tours from the hostel are amazing, definitely would recommend the starbeach tour.

The toilet/shower building is a bit older and does not have really hot water, but that is not really a problem with those warm temperatures.

Starfish tour absoultely great, staff sorts out your buses and ferries, tasty breakfasts.

They cancelled a tour an hour before which completely ruined my day. There was not enough people which is understandable but if you knew the night before just cancel the night before instead last minute. I asked them to do my laundry but not to dry one item in a dryer since it was delicate. They said "sure" and then didn't even wash it. I asked if they can fix their mistake to which they said "no". Very weird attitude. Restrooms are not very clean with some old wet underwear and clothes hanging for days in the bathrooms.
