Drifters Zanzibar

Wir hatten im Drifters eine super Zeit. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist wirklich hervorragend. Trotz der Nähe zu allen Aktivitäten, hat man hier eine ruhige Atmosphäre und kann somit selbst entscheiden, was man gerade sucht. Vor allem die Mitarbeiter waren super! Trotzdessen wir uns in den Daten verbucht hatten, wurde uns schnell ein Zimmer zum gleichen Preis angeboten und es lief alles reibungslos und entgegenkommend ab. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

This is the only place where you'll have a beachfront accommodation for a decent price. The location is absolutely perfect and the vibe is nice. The view is great, there is plenty of space to sit and relax during the day, and the pool is also very nice. Food was great! While there are a few issues with the property, I would say that it's overall worth staying there just for the location.

As mentioned in many comments, it's loud until 3-4AM. I read the comments before, so I was expecting it, but make sure to bring earplugs if you want to sleep. Also, Paje is the place in Tanzania where there were the most mosquitoes. While this isn't the property's fault, one thing that struck us was that the mosquito net over our bed had holes in it and was not big enough to cover the whole bed. As a result, we woke up every morning with so many bites. We were glad to be taking malaria meds...

C'est le paradis ! L'architecture est magnifique et l'ambiance de l'endroit est vraiment unique (juste en bord de mer !). Le personnel est sympathique et accueillant, et David, le propriétaire, est tout simplement exceptionnel. L'hôtel est situé en bord de mer et dispose également d'une belle piscine. Sécurité 24h/24 et 7j/7, nous avons eu la chance d'obtenir la meilleure chambre, avec climatisation et sol carrelé (non répertoriée en ligne, mais disponible sur demande). Dans l'ensemble, c'est un endroit fantastique, nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

this is just my personal experience! for me the accomodation had a weird vibe. there were only men working there and most of them didn’t make me feel comfortable. nothing in particular happened but women will get the feeling. for male travellers i think this is a great place. for the sake of female travellers i would recommend to employ some women who give the place a friendly, loving athmosphere.
