Location, views and cleanliness

Uncomfortable bed but I do have some health issues

Helpful, friendly staff, comfortable bed, excellent room, great views

It was a bit noisy for me but I guess that's all down to who else is staying there at the same time

The kitchen was great and I loved the communal area where you could sit and chat with other guests.

Our room was quite cold and we didn’t appear to be able to amend the heating.

Communal areas fabulous, spotless kitchen, fabulous views. Provision of breakfast helpful.

Very clean, lounge was lovely, kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable. The staff member who met us was helpful and showed us round.

The main problem was at night. The room was really hot - 22.5C before we went to bed and went up to 24.5 at one point during the night. There was no way of controlling the temperature - the info said "contact reception" but reception is not staffed during the night. When we had the window open you could hear the church bells every 15 minutes. The second problem was the green safety light in the roof which was really bright.

The eco building constructed around 3 years ago was of exceptional quality. The rooms very spacious and ours overlooked the marina. The location was great with a short walk to the many cafes and bars in the town. We liked the Co-living principle sharing a huge communal lounge and an excellent and immaculate shared kitchen which was well equipped for preparing and cooking meals. It also was an opportunity to meet and chat to other guests, many of whom were walkers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay there again if in the area.
