Seko Kato Nile View Hostel

Nice small family hotel run by a Nubian family. The terrace has a great view of the Nile. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Seko was also a really great host. Great base to explore the Aswan area from. He helped us booked a trip to Abu Simbel and it was the best price we could get. He also helped friends of mine with a direct transfer back to Luxor.

Recommend bringing some insect repellent for the surrounding area at night for the mosquitos. Only other negative was that you need to walk to catch the ferry each day to go and see the attractions but it was only a short walk. Still better to be staying on Elephantine island than on the much more chaotic East Bank

Seko and the team were great hosts, very laid back and easy going but always there if need be. The hostel has a beautiful roof top near a great swimming spot in the Nile. Elephantine Island is a must visit and Seko Kato Nile View Hostel is the place to stay!

Tesise ulaşım tekne yolu ile yapılabiliyor onun içinde ekstra ücret ödeyip teknelerini kullanabilirsiniz.Esyalarınız fazla ise yürümek eziyetli olur. Nehir kenarındaki teknelere ulaşım biraz uzak ve yolları kötü . Ayrıca asansör olmadığı ve merdivenleri dar olduğu için eşya çıkarıp indirmek çok zor terastaki oda çok sıkışık. Ve yatakların biri çok kötüydü ve bizden başka müşteri olmamasına rağmen banyoda su akmıyordu .odada hiç bir banyo malzemesi yoktu.Kadin çalışan alt katta başka bir odada duş almam için yardımcı oldu ama orada da su çok azdı.Bir de sivrisinek çok fazlaydı.pencerelerde sineklik mevcut ama kapıyı açtığınız anda odaya doluyorlar. Sinek ilacı ve sprey ile gitmenizi öneririm

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The owner was incredibly hospitable and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Everyone on the island was friendly and kind, which made the experience even more special. The location is perfect—very close to the fair—and the terrace is spacious with a beautiful view. We truly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

The facilities were clean and very nice! The owner was really kind, letting us use the terrace and bathroom free of charge after we checked out, I recommend!

Comfy and cozy

Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig gelegen mit Blick auf den Nil. Die Unterkunft ist sehr im Stile eines nubischen Hauses gehalten. Haben noch Lake bekommen und das WLAN war sehr gut. Schnell in der Stadt Dank der Fähre. Haben durch den Besitzer auch eine Tour nach Abu Simbel zu einem sehr guten Preis gebucht.

Die Klimaanlage war leider sehr laut und das Haus schlecht isoliert, sodass man damit klar kommen muss, dass es machts etwas warm im Zimmer wird. Durch die Lage auf der Insel auch einige Moskitos durch die wir nicht so gut geschlafen haben.
