City View Hostel

Place is really good and peaceful. Also it’s located in walking distance from main city

The staff was very kind and friendly, the location it's perfect and the accommodation is ok.

The entrance to the building it's a bit weird but it's manageable

Even though I arrived very late at night, the facility officer accepted me.

Great location, close to the busstop (5 min) and the trainstation (10 min). Great restaurants and a supermarket closeby. The owner is nice and helpful. The rooms are big with nice windows so you have a great view. About the other facilities i think you pay for what you get

Location is the only good thing about the place. Right next to the lake and all the eateries. Railway station is about 700mts away. Host is great too, soft spoken, helpful and humble.

While the location is great, hardly a few mins from the lake and the Sacred Tooth temple the place doesn't really qualify as a hostel. It is a room with dorm beds with only one small fan in the corner which isn't helpful at all. Which means u have to keep the window open for any airflow n that makes it super noisy from outside. The bath n toilet is one floor below and super tiny, cramped for space. Plus cockroaches n lizards make it not very comfortable at all.

The room is fine, the location is so strategic! Very close to the railway station (Kandy-Ella) and near the scared tooth temple and Kandy lake. All are within 10-15 minutes walking distance
