In the centre and cheap

Windows open all night and in the party district so very loud. People leaving their clothes hanging up all around the room, so feels like a homeless hostel.

The shower area in 5th floor had a foul smell, i think from drainage.

This hostel is perfectly placed in the old town. It's amongst a tonne of food places, convenience stores and incredible architecture. I liked the lockers having locks provided and every thing seemed fairly clean compared to a lot of hostels I've been in. There were 3 rooms on my floor. We only had 2 toilets and 2 showers but I never had an issue with them being busy when I needed them.

Being so close to bars means it's loud. There were constantly 2 songs playing from 2 different bars nearby. I didn't mind though. Just something to bare in mind if you want something a bit quieter My biggest issue was the beds. I was on the top bunk, I'm very mobile person but the ladders were in a really bad place to get in and out, I nearly fell multiple times and because all the beds were made out of wood (which I liked the look of) it meant that every time you moved it creaked really loud which is fine during the day but when you're trying to check out at 4am it's awful knowing you're waking everyone up without intending to. It would have been nice if the hostel had some socials going on to meet more people. They may do it on a weekend but I didn't see anything advertised and I was there from Tuesday to Friday morning.
