Arusha Safari Hostel

This hidden gem is amazing! The vibe was chill, the family was extremely friendly, especially the owners' young daughters and dog. We arrived late and hungry, but the chefs had wonderful options at affordable prices. We even had leftovers the following day. Due to my mother's disability, the owner quickly switched our room to a ground floor location. Value was incredible!

This was an amazing find! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The room was spacious, there was hot water and it was thoroughly clean. The food was great! We had a beer whilst chatting to other travellers and watching some football on TV. Highly recommend!

The hostel looks to be once a great idea come to life.

Wow so much! It's a shell of what I assume it may have once been. It's not very clean. We found cat shit smeared into the net of our room and had to change rooms close to midnight. Honestly doesn't really seem like anyone is taking care of the place. Location is also pretty shifty. Generally wouldn't recommend.

The beauty of Arusha Safari lodge is the family vibe you get from the staff that really stands out. From the manager Husna, Popi and Nas they all went above and beyond to ensure that we had the perfect stay. They offered great suggestions and connections to make the most of the local area. The hotel itself has a stunning common area which offered a great spot to hang out with our friends played games and met people from all over the world. With this place we made lifetime friends ❤️
