Castaway Hostel

I arrived very late and was still able to check in without any problems. The place was clean, and you can grab free mineral water whenever, which is nice. The staff was friendly; they even invited me to a free dinner at the hostel, even though I had already checked out.

The bed creaked a lot when I moved around on the top bunk, making me feel like I was disturbing my bunkmate. Also, the sliding doors for the room let mosquitoes in at night.

Location is nearby restaurant , gym , groceries stores, bars & not far away from the beach, clean the bed . They provided shower gel in the shower . Refill water bottles, Ice and share fridge available.

To much noisy Euros / Arabic dudes that no respect others in the room or surrendering areas the first night . Lack of common sense and roommates leaving dirty underwear and pants in the towel hangs inside the bathroom , when outside they have a place for wet clothes and music from early morning to night time. If you are young and immature this will be a great place to staying in. If you wanna rest after surf , road trip or after a long night not recommended . But for 7 dollars x night knowing the culture of visitors in Canguu is understandable.

Very nice property with really nice staff. The pool was lovely. The beds were comfortable and clean. Very good location. Very close to restuarant’s and bars.

We had an issue with ants in our rooms which they sorted the next day. The property doesn’t supply towels.

We loved staying at castaway! We came back for a second visit on our trip around Bali. The staff are all amazing, so welcoming and make so much effort with their guests. And Queen is always going above and beyond for her guests. The atmosphere was great, for both of our visits, and met some amazing people. Will definitely be staying again if we come back to Canggu.
