Friendly staff.

The floor of the room is dirty. You can find disgusting blood stains on the curtains that are over your head while you sleep. Thin walls - you hear the noise from other rooms and the street. No hot water when we visited. recommended.

The place is simple but it's great for its price. It provides water and coffee for free and the staff is very friendly. We stayed only one night but the experience was positive. Besides,the location is good.

We booked a private room, and it was essentially in the reception area with very little privacy. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, I had to pull plastic out of the drain in the shower, and the pillows on the bed were very lumpy. I paid a similar price for a hostel in Quito, and the hostel was beautiful, and the rooms immaculate, so I was expecting something similar in Cuenca, but that was not the case. Splurge a little more in this city if you want something comfortable.

Creaking floors, water not hot enough, renovation works in neighborhood at night (Nov 23)

The location was perfect, the price cheap and there was coffee and tea available

First we had a booking but we were told that there was no room left when we arrived. We had to go somewhere else and got no help from the hostel. We did stay here the next night. The photos are way better than the rooms look. The bed is very bad, there is no place to sit/chill in the hostel and there is a lot of noise. The staff was blowing weed and you will wake up because of the smell and the sound of the tv that they re playing very loudly. It is a very cheap hostel with a good location, but we would never stay again.
