Wild Incas Hostel

The staff was really nice in general and the location was great. They helped us with the taxi, and when they overbooked themselves , they honoured our confirmation. 

Sadly, this is the worst hostel of our trip in South America. You think of dirt and you just get it straight: This hostel has a really strong smell in the rooms, the standard of cleaning is literally non-existent. We stayed 6 nights and I'm not joking when I say they did not clean our room even once (and we asked a few times). Eventually, we had to take new sheets from a pantry and make our bed on day 4, as well as cleaning the toilet with "cloro." The towels or pillow cases were honestly disgusting, super gross linen, so we slept in our sleeping bags. They don't have a kitchen or nice common areas, and no hot water. The place could have potential but needs a massive refurbishment, and the pictures they put in booking.com look muuuuuch better than it is in reality.  I don't recommend it unless you travel on a super tight budget.

Everything was fine, the bed was comfy, the shower was not great but worked well. You have 1 kg/day of free laundry, which is great. Very good location.

The hostel is very very small. Just a tiny entrance and a few rooms. In the dorm, half of the people sleeping there were volunteering at the hostel, so it was almost impossible to meet new people.

We felt the photos were slightly misleading. There are no common areas and there isn’t a kitchen, but there is hot water available.

Not a very comfy bed though was given an extra blanket when asked. Cold shower.
