Sport Resort Fiesch - Fiescher Hostel

Hostel kindly accommodated multiple staying athletes for SwissAlp100 and had breakfast (very, very basic) ready at 5am for runners.

Beside booking cost here, I was asked to pay 50 CHF per night for "towels & breakfast". This is extortionate rate even for Switzerland. Also, there was no hot water in showers at night. Annoying, if you finish ultramarathon at 4am, and have to take cold shower.

It has everything you need, staff is super nice, and for the price, there is not half a complaint justifiable when looking at the cute little room, clean, tidy and with a comfy bed. Its a perfect location to start crazy adventures from. The concrete town is a bit special at first, but then, as a child, I would have loved it here and I think its a place made for families, kids and younger peops. It has loads of things to do all over the place.

Nothing to complain, a bit more explanation maybe to understand the „rules“ of the breakfast area :-)

1) Location was great. With local train stop just a couple of meters away and so many nice mountains and mountain huts close buy it is a great "base camp" for the area. 2) Lots of other activities available on the facilities (climbing, swimming, sauna, indoor and outdoor sport courts, mini golf, robe Park in the trees) --> top for families

1) Beds were a bit soft for my liking 2) Showers are surrounded by a curtain which tends to make the bathroom quite wet when taking a shower
