Starfall Lodge

Great team of staff, great breakfast/coffee, just a nice and friendly vibe.

Starfall Lodge is run by the friendliest crew in Hakuba. They go out of there way to pick you up from the train/bus station, drop you off at one of five ski resorts and drop you at dinner in the evening. They also serve a tasty breakfast complete with lattes, fresh fruit and eggs that will have you filled up ready for a day on the slopes.

This is a shared bathroom/shower situation but this very common in Hakuba. Tbh the facilities were always spotless so it was obvious someone was always keeping it the facilities tidy.

The people were extremely accommodating, flexible and lovely. They make the place feel like home.

The staff are super friendly and made our stay as comfortable as possible, the shuttle services made life so easy we were in want of nothing. They also partner with a ski rental store that collects your gear from the lodge when you done, if you are looking for a no-hassles stay in Hakuba this a good option.

The shuttles to the mountain and the restaurants at night were really helpful also pickup and dropoff at the train station made everything super easy. The lodge is clean and cosy, my wife and I really liked our room because it was comfy and quiet.

The pillows were too high/firm.

Great amenities, very clean and excellent bus services run by Starfall Lodge, it felt like a home away from home! The staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate requests where possible. We will definitely be back visiting Hakuba and Starfall again!
