Starfall Lodge

The staff was very friendly and helpful

We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was well-run, clean and a great place to stay for a 1 week ski trip with a group of 6. The best part was definitely the free barista coffee every morning (complete with latte art), which came with the complimentary breakfast. It’s located a bit out of the main area of town but the staff drop you to the slopes every morning (whichever slope you want) and will drop you anywhere you want to go for dinner. The staff also pick you up after the slopes from the Lawsons in town (which is next to where the free shuttle busses from the slopes will drop you) so you never have to carry your gear far at the end of the day. You’ll have to get your own way back from dinner but there is a night bus that drops you close to the lodge, which is convenient and easy to use. The staff can also help you make calls for dinner reservations or pizza delivery (if you don’t have a sim that lets you make calls)! There’s also a great outdoor onsen, a huge supermarket and lots of other shops and restaurants within a 7 min walk of the lodge.

Great staff. Very helpful. Picked up and dropped off to the train station and drop offs for dinner. Kitchen to make food if needed.

Loved everything!

Staff are outstanding, incredibly helpful and do lifts to the mountains each morning. The provide a breakfast as well and have heaps of local knowledge. Rooms are great and the Lodge is in a good location. Will stay here again, highly recommend.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk to Beds were comfortable The hotel shuttle to take you around the area was super convenient, with the shuttle back to the hotel from the bus station being especially useful after a day on the mountain

The location is a bit of a walk to anywhere Breakfast was very basic, but still appreciated

This place is a real gem, with great staff who were so kind and willing to help. Don't hesitate to book this place- we had a wonderful time and that's all because of the genuine service for their guests. Super clean and the breakfast and coffee is just what you need to charge down the slopes. They did complimentary mountain transfers as well as runs into Hakuba for supplies or dinner. Overall this was exceptional and I hope to be bac.k soon.
