Starfall Lodge

Clean and well equipped amenities, friendly staff and just a very friendly and relaxing vibe from everyone staying here.

Nothing, but only advise for family staying here to be mindful that this is a lodge with shared bathroom which is not the same as having a bathroom to yourself.

Absolutely could not fault this hostel. The facilities were excellent from the bedrooms (including the dorms) to the bathroom, kitchen, laundry, common spaces (including being exceptionally clean). Staff were excellent - super social and helpful, including the owners who spend a lot of time there. Free shuttles every morning to the slopes so you don't have to think about it (and easy to get back with a nearby bus stop). Walking distance to lots of great restaurants, an onsen, Lawsons, etc. The atmosphere was great, and really appeals to an awesome bunch of people. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this lodge to my friends and family.

Very clean. The staff were amazing. Shoutout to Chris and Maddie who were so helpful our whole stay!

I personally found the bed a little uncomfortable and the toilets being downstairs is a bit inconvenient for someone like myself who wakes up to go to the toilet every night. But both of these things are very minor given how much we loved our stay overall

Spacious, homey and accommodating. Starfall Lodge was the perfect place for our group to stay for the week. The rooms were very spacious, everything was exceptionally clean and the staff were amazing. The continental breakfast in the morning was the perfect way to start the day before heading up the mountain and the complimentary shuttles made getting to the slopes super easy. The lodge was walking distance to the bus terminal, train station and bars/restaurants but the staff were also always willing to help out if we needed to arrange a lift.

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the shuttles to the mountains. It was perfect for getting us fed and up and mountain quickly in the morning. Place was clean and our 6 bed dorm was much more spacious than we were expecting (and very comfortable). The staff were absolutely awesome and gave us some great recommendations and advice.

The staff and overall environment of the lodge was great. It was a nice communal space and community out there, with loads of help and great conversations to ease you in.

Friendly staff. Nice hot showers. Shared shower and toilet but never needed to wait to use. In addition to the included breakfast, guests were welcomed to cook their own food using the stoves. I could prepare hot breakfast for my kids.

No car park space for guests.
