Eden Eco Village

food was truly amazing, best food i have had in cambodia so far. room is rustic of course, I unfortunately saw a rat (on a beam close to the ceiling) in my room at night... but that is to be expected in that location. anyway, the view is stunning

Un lieu plein d’authenticité et de sérénité qui nous fait revenir à l’essentiel. Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans un bungalow au bord de la rivière, la vue sur les montagnes et la rivière depuis le hamac était splendide. Le bungalow a toutes les commodités nécessaires. Le restaurant était excellent, nous nous sommes régalés. L’hôtel fait partie d’un projet favorisant l’emploi de femmes locales. Elles parlent peu anglais mais ce n’est absolument pas grave car on arrive très bien à se comprendre. La mise à disposition des kayaks est un vrai atout. L’hôtel est éloigné du centre ville de Kampot mais est parfaitement localisé pour faire le tour en kayak de la cathédrale verte. Nous l’avons faite au petit matin vers 7H30, c’était génial car nous n’avons croisé personne (depuis l’hôtel comptez 2h de balade en kayak).

We had a wonderful stay here! The huts are basic but that's what makes it special. We loved having the balcony over the river with the hammocks, it's lovely to have breakfast there or watch the sun set over the mountains. We ate here for most of our meals while we were in Kampot and everything was really tasty and reasonably priced, and they can deliver everything to your hut. We used the free kayaks to go to the green cathedral which we really enjoyed, there are only 2 so you can get unlucky if they're being used but they were free fairly often while we were there. We also enjoyed befriending the cats!

There was some noise during our stay, some of the boats have loud engines and woke us up early morning. Not Eden's fault, but earplugs could be useful if you're a light sleeper

Le calme, le restaurant est très bon, personnel très gentil

Le matelas et la moustiquaire devraient être changé + douche dangereuse (grosse pente). Présence de souris dans la chambre

Les petits bungalows sont vraiment mignons et confortables. Le personnel est très gentil, et la nourriture est très bonne!

Le bruit du lodge situé juste à côté, dont l’ambiance est sympa, mais qui propose des concerts/de la musique jusqu’à minuit. Pas toujours compatible avec des nuits tranquilles.

Beautiful location and really unique experience whilst in Cambodia!

It was quite noisy at night with boats coming past but nothing to overly worry about, worth it!
