This hostel was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, the accommodation was generally clean. The room was quiet and comfy, especially as it was only half full (2 of 4 people). I would stay again. Location was very close to the railway and bus stations (2 minutes in either direction) and 10 minutes from the city centre by foot. Very convenient bus connections if necessary.

Some personal lamps would have been appreciated, but other than that, I cannot really fault this hostel. You get what you pay for.

The lady that runs the place, from Georgia is extremely nice. I believe she, by herself, gives all the points to the place. In terms of service, they do have coffee and free laundry that helps.

Just be aware that it is not in anyway a place for travellers. It was filled with people running away from the conflict or looking for a job. Nothing wrong with that but the vibe is quite negative in the place. People find shelter in their own corner making one feel quite unconfortable there. The building is also really tired and have seen better days. The bed was not good at all, I had a big lad in the lower part of my bunk and he snored like it was the train passing by but also everytime he moved just a little bit it was impossible for me not to wake up

Good location

While in the past i wrote a positive review for this place, my last stay was terrible. On my arrival with prearranged time, nobody was there to greet me, i waited a long time for key of my room. I had to ring for them to show up at reception..All night people were shouting in corridor, despite me asking to turn it down, then couple started arguing outside my door..at 1 am a staff member started cleaning corridors really loud..i had to.go out again to ask them to stop the noise..no sleep that night and I was stressed and tired. The cleanliness levels were also bad. I opened fridge and smell was so bad I nearly got sick on the spot..could not use it for my food.bathroom was not clean either. Will never go there again.
