This was an absolutely horrifying experience. The dormitory was severely infested with bed bugs , I was bitten all over my body, including visible areas like my neck, arms, legs, and even more sensitive places. I couldn’t sleep for a single minute. I was in pain, panicking, and constantly itching. Other guests were also terrified. Several people left the room during the night and sat outside on the stairs because it was impossible to stay inside. The beds, sheets, pillows, and even the walls were stained with blood from crushed bed bugs. It was truly disgusting and deeply disturbing. This is not just poor hygiene it’s a serious public health hazard, and I fully intend to report this property to the Portuguese health authorities (ASAE) and file a formal complaint. I will also contact Booking.com support with full photo and video evidence. This place should not be accepting guests until it has been fully inspected and cleaned. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hostel. It is unsafe, unsanitary, and absolutely unacceptable.
