The hostel is good but not great. You’ve got Filipino workers basically residing there long-term so don’t expect anything social. The location is great for Metro Manila and it is located in a local and comparatively safe neighbourhood. Directly next to the hostel there is a great local (and ridiculously cheap) restaurant as well as a 7/11 if you get the munchies in the night. The security measures are outstanding and there are lockers if you have some stuff to store. The staff is available 24/7, speaks good English and is very helpful.

There aren’t enough toilets in my honest opinion. Two showers and one bathroom, so if a guy is having a long session you’re basically done for. For me personally it wasn’t a problem since I sleep like a stone but I could imagine that people would find the United Nations Ave. quite loud at times. There isn’t a kitchen and the share space is a table with 10 chairs. For people who love comfort I wouldn’t recommend this place, but if you look for something cheap and have been travelling through Asia this is absolutely doable!

Staff were friendly. Last night I wanted to change the room. They agreed to my wish.

The room's air con was strong,( i had a terrible headache cuz of it for 2 days), no hot water in shower rooms,u have to get ur own staff like toilet paper,location alsois not good, many homeless sleeping on street. Cockroach are ur friends there, near ur bed on street .. I did a mistake when i booked for 4 nights at place while u can tour manila places in 1/2days. And i got disturbed by a bunch of kids who stolen my things from bag that was a bad experience

Everything else. I'm sorry, this comment may seem harsh, but I have to make it clear to potential clients. The area is dark and dodgy after sunset. This is not a hostel suited for tourists /travelers. It's a hostel for local workers. To call it basic would be a compliment. There are absolutely no facilities a part from a cold shower and a table. Bunk beds are uncomfortable (rubber mattress). No towels provided (available for extra 150peso). It's literally 2 corridors and a staircase. The only advantage is a balcony where you can smoke. I lasted 2 nights and moved to crossroad.
