The staff were very nice.

The cleaning lady left our room wide open after she finished. If someone chose to come into the room, they would’ve. This is a complete disregard for peoples property that they left in the room. I saw it happened in other rooms. The rooms were very dusty and not weather proof - we were there in the snow and you felt every degree or lackthereof.

We liked the living room, the beds were comfortable.

There is no safe box or locker, bath room without ventilation and only 2 showers for all the building. The elevator doesn’t work.

Staying here is a great experience, the concept is focused on encouraging people to share space and interact. I really appreciated the open living room space which was comfortable and encourages conversations. But nothing is an obligation, so if you want to have quiet time to yourself that is possible as well. There is a kitchen as well so if you don't want to go out for food, you can cook full meals. It is also really close to the main station which is very convenient.

Good location close to the station. An inexpensive place to stay in Nagano. The staff were nice. The bedding was clean, plush and warm. You could close yourself out to the rest of the room with a pull curtain.

It's pretty noisy/without sound proofing. Earplugs help. Luckily the other girls in my room were quiet; the station is where the noise was from. The staff member who checked me in was friendly but there were no staff on site to drop my bag before check-in. I guess this helps keep costs down but it wasn't convenient. I think I may have gotten athletes foot from the shared showers. I recommend flip flops. It would have been nice to have a key card that works on the various doors instead of remembering codes. The bed wasn't a bed or futon it was a very thin cushioned mat. The comforter and pillows were actually super plush and nice. Very warm. The place was ok for one night but I wouldn't necessarily recommend a stay that is more than that unless your budget is severely restricted.

スタッフの方の感じがよく、親切です。階段が狭いので荷物を上の階に運んでくださり助かりました。 駅から近く、リーズナブル。 古いホテルを改装したようですが、きれいに清掃されていました。 ジャーナリングするホステルというコンセプトが面白いと思いました。

タオルは別途有料100円かかり、うっかり忘れてしまったためレンタルしたのですが、洗剤・柔軟剤の香りが大変強いタオルで残念でした。また、施設各所に芳香剤が置かれており、個人的には不快でした。こちらのホステルに限らず、シーツや部屋など含め無香料の宿泊場所が増えてほしいです。 ロッカーなどはなく、貴重品の管理などが若干大変でした。
