no tiene cortinas como algunos lugares para tener un poco de privacidad pero es porque no son cámarotes, por lo menos la habitación q estuve

The historic old house, a block from Nelson town centre, has been well adapted to be a hostel, with large kitchen, cosy warm lounge, musical instruments, and big communal table encouraging interaction. I like the quirky style, with stained glass and lots of wood, rugs and bright artwork. My private room was huge, bed comfy. Onsite managers keep everything ticking over smoothly. 24 hr servo next door to buy milk or a snack.

I didn't realise that the house is perched on a hill, up 60 somewhat uneven stairs. Was completely daunted arriving at the foot of them at night with my luggage! By great luck, a kind/helpful passer-by saw me (little old lady) standing on the footpath and carried bag up for me. Easier/car access is by a steepish driveway from the back of the neighbouring servo. There's some car parking at the back of the hostel.

Personalen och inredningen var väldigt bra! Bekväm säng och rimlig frukost för priset.

Toaletterna var väldigt smutsiga, alltid blött på golvet och kiss på toasitsen.

This accommodation is truly unique, with beautifully designed hallways, rooms featuring large floor-to-ceiling windows, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely outdoor space. Although the building shows some signs of age, with slightly dim lighting and water pressure that isn’t particularly strong, the staffs care and attention make the whole place feel warm and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was also a wonderful bonus, making the overall stay very enjoyable.

Loved the staff, people who are here are genuinely nice. It's a quirky home but all is fabulous, and there is free breakfast! It has the perfect vibe

The 5-bed mixed dorm was too small would benefit from a bunk bed as there was little space for luggage. If you're hesitating- I MUCH preferred the 4-bed female dorm :)

I like the location and the staff was friendly.

The room smelled like piss. I know this was a historical building but it was outdated and dirty.

Hostel located up on a steep hillside. Not suitable for elderly people. Difficult to drive up and limited free parking on site
