Coastal Accommodation

The place was clean and tidy. The location was okay.

The bed was very uncomfortable, hard and the sheets were rough in texture. The bright light from the corridor came into my room even though I closed the curtains.

C’est cosy et super propre , bien placé !!! Très agréable !!!

The accommodation was located at a more remote corner of the town, a 5-7min walk to the busier part of town. It is just minutes' drive away from the Penguin Colony. The sea view from the window was great. The bed and sheets are clean. Common lounge and kitchen looked decent. Thankfully there was free parking for us behind the building but the alley between the parking and the entrance was dark and scary, and kind of dirty.

It looks like an old shophouse converted to 'hotel'. Facilities were old fashion and quite inconvenient but for the price we pay, I guess we shouldn't complain. The owner of the hotel occupies a room down the hall and constantly keeps an eye on us using electricity and on our activities. There are lots of utensils and cutlery but sadly all the pots and pans are super dirty. I found one that is not rusty but had to scrub it literally 10x with gif before there is no more dirty brown grime appearing. Having to climb the stairs with our heavy luggage in tow didn't help. And leaving your keys behind spells disaster.

I didn't like the communual sharing and that the need for internet access just to get into my room . The place smelt bad and there were several people lounging around - all should have been home with their parents . Didn't feel like I wanted to be there so I left and found alternative accommodation .

Warm, good hot water,quiet and well equiped.

Perfect backpacker accomodation.

Very friendly and helpful staff: the housekeeper even helped me out with my laundry! She gave me lots of tips of things to see and do, and was always there to answer questions and give advice. 10/10 to Fran!

Little bit cold in the room, but that was easily sorted with the provided room heaters. In the summer I think this place would be just perfect.

Was in town, and with a nice view to the sea.

They could do with a big water heater in the kitchen, so the kettle would’ve need to be boiled all the time.
