Coastal Accommodation

Really friendly owner , had a good chat with her

This is a low cost accommodation with a very nice self catering kitchen and cozy lounge area. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom and laundry facilities are very convenient. The accommodation is walking distance from many of Oumaru’s best attractions including the Steampunk museum, little penguin viewing centre and Scott’s Brewing Company which has absolutely delicious beer and food. The best part for me was chatting with Fran who is the caretaker. I like chatting with locals and Fran was very helpful at recommending places to visit. Would happily stay there again.

Have stayed several times. All very easy.

The room is obviously soon to undergo renovation. A few small things to tidy up in the place but the general tidiness is fantastic.

An overnight stay to visit the little blue penguin experience. Would've been happy to have stayed longer. View from the communal area was beautiful over the beachfront. Room was quaint and cosy. Enjoyed the use of the electric heater. Facilities were large and clean. Parking on the roadside outside.

Not a problem for me but the rooms are up a set of stairs
