Staff were friendly, The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy.

It was very warm. It was an unusually warm day and the portable air conditioner couldn't keep up. Wifi, was very poor.

I booked a room with the shared bathroom – I don’t have a problem with that, and I appreciate being able to pay a little less. There’s also a shared kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and provided with basic condiments. Place is very clean, recently painted, and well painted in pleasing colors and careful work. Bed was comfortable and staff was helpful. Highly recommend. Newfoundland is very beautiful, but it is an expensivePlace to travel and I appreciated this place.

Clean place and very nice staff.

Where do I start? The staff were great, very accommodating with the check-in time as our arrival got pushed due to delays on the road. But that’s where things stop being great. The whole thing is a hostel, not a hotel. Next, the room is at best a one bed sized room, not two. The bathroom is tiny, not enough for a 5’10” guy to have a bath in, good luck if you’re taller. Water kept dripping the whole night even though we shut the shower off tightly. The room is so small there’s no room opening up a suitcase without walking over it. Additionally, the lights outside were on the whole night and it illuminated the room inside. View outside of the ocean was a nice plus but outside of the property’s control, there were cars outside doing drifts and start/stop loud noises which kept us up until 11.30pm. We were outta there at 7.30am. I’d skip this place unless you have nowhere to stay for the night.
