Alocasia Inn - El Nido

Very good staff,decent rooms but toiltes and shower not as much.

Position good in El Nido. And that is it.

Very basic for an upmarket price like this. Rooms are cleaned by mob-phone addicted staff, if you ask for that and leave the key. What I cannot stand at all is when reception lies to you. When asking for van shuttle (PHP 400) to Nacpan they said there is no van but only tricycle (1200 PHP), which is not true.

The bed feels damp, the room is dirty and full of mosquitoes. Poor water pressure. The towels look like they were used to clean the floor. It's very noisy, you can hear everything outside and how the reception staff watching videos on their phones. I left this place after a few hours because it's impossible to live there. I asked the reception staff to help with the tricycle, he said the price 5 times higher. I don't recommend this place

The location is amazing. Close to everything but not noisy at all

The value for money was the worst we’ve had in the Philippines. There was a huge cockroach in the room which the staff tried to help us with but did not manage to. This left us a bit uncomfortable in the room.

Good location in El Nido, very central. Not the fanciest hotel but a good affordable option.
