Oh, there was a great view from the breakfast room of a neighboring house that was old and sad, but rather beautiful at the same time. Diogo, the owner, would already have the table set for us before we came in for breakfast and he would pour us coffee and refill us. Diogo will provide you if you forget to bring a beach towel, sunscreen, or, a potty for your toddler. He also has all the information about events, shops, prices, and sightseeing ideas. The house itself loves you. You will feel it when you are there. Also, I loved the Portuguese tiles and other details in the house. Enjoyed the conversations about poetry with his mother, Candida, aka Big Mama.

Best host - absolutely welcoming and friendly. He will have nice tips for activities, food, etc. Embrace his hospitality and get to know him and his lovely mom. The hostel overall has a lot of space.

The hosts go above above and beyond to make sure you have the best time in Espinho! Great location and all the facilities you could need.

From the first contact Diogo was the perfect host and we felt like we were visiting our friend in his cosy home, everything is clean and comfortable with hot running water, within walking distance to all the amenities, lovely breakfast, we'll be returning for sure next year when we perform in the living statue festival again.
