Amazing host, one of the nicest I have met in all my time here. Free coffee/water. Beds are comfortable. Location is amazing next to mostly very expensive accommodation and some really nice restaurants. Cannot be beat for the price.

Bathrooms could do with a good clean

Reading the past reviews I was expecting the worse, but at the end was one of the best hostel I've been in SEA. Clean, a lot of space inside and outside and Mimi the reception woman was super kind and very helpful. Thanks again, hope we can come back.

Obviously not the most luxurious option and the bathroom definitely needs an overhaul, but it's well located (2 min to beach, other beaches 20-30 min by foot or 5 min by scooter). And being located behind the dive shop you get a pretty local feel.

The dorm was only 4 beds so it was really quiet at night. Not a ”party hostel” and seems that people respected the silence time. Everything I needed for sleeping and showering.

Shaking floor. But for that price, I didn’t mind.

Review for BB Dorm Hostel I had a rough idea of what to expect based on the pictures, but I never imagined it could actually be this bad. This hostel is an absolute disgrace, and I am appalled that anyone would dare charge money for such an atrocious state. The beds (with no curtains!) wobble so much that even a simple fan causes them to shake. On top of that, the mattresses are a disaster – the springs press through so badly that they are literally painful, and it feels like they’re piercing your skin. Sleep is almost impossible here. The bathroom reeks horribly, and it seems like not even a few baht were spent on basic cleanliness or repairs. There’s no shelf in the bathroom, and the showerhead barely drips water – as a woman, it was simply impossible to wash my hair. Security is virtually nonexistent: the door doesn’t lock, so theoretically, anyone from the street can enter – at any time of day or night. There is no safe, just a cheap wooden locker that can be easily opened with a strong pull. It feels like neither the guests’ belongings nor their safety matter here. The large gap under the door also makes it an open invitation for smaller “guests” to crawl in… I am deeply disappointed and, frankly, furious that a hostel in such a catastrophic state is being rented out at all. Personally, I would be ashamed to offer something like this. The only positive thing was the friendliness of the lady on-site – but even that doesn’t come close to making up for the massive shortcomings. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hostel at all costs. Absolutely no recommendation!
