Walkerz Inn

The good thing about this property is the fact you can walk to the town, it's in a quiet spot and therefore the price. We personally don't enjoy Bohol town - I think the only thing is nightlife and being close to restaurant options but if this isn't for you I wouldn't stay in this part of Bohol.

The room was very dark and dingy, it hadn't been cleaned to a good standard. Mirror was filthy, walls need attention. The bedding was good - otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. The air con was really noisy, and we heard rats or some other animal crawling in the roof at night. The staff didn't really know how to help us, they weren't informative. There are no signs to the Inn - the entrance has two tall gates with a very warn sign of walkers inn. I wouldn't recommend, unless last resort.

They did refund us for the two cancelled nights. No refund for the breakfast though.

4 months of backpacking and this is the worst place I've ever stayed! Firstly the location on Google maps is incorrect. We spent half an hour driving around in a taxi trying to find the place. Called the two numbers on their page and messaged through booking.com and got no response. This was followed by a plethora of issues during our stay - light not working in bathroom, hot water not working, wildlife in the room (huge spider & cockroaches). Filthy old rug & very old dilapidated furniture, cracked mirror. Random empty bed frame in the room!? Room was dusty & huge cobews hanging from the roof. Bathroom not very clean. The next morning we got a message at 8am to say there was an emergency and our breakfast was cancelled. That evening the water stopped working completely so the sink, toilet, shower wouldn't work. We had booked for 3 nights but left after 1. Avoid this place at all costs. Low prices may seem tempting but it is honestly not worth it - just book somewhere else.

The property has been renovated recently and they are still working on it. The room was very clean and the lady managing the property was super friendly. Room and bathroom were super big. It’s close to the main area but far enough to avoid the noise and the masses. Breakfast was ok. Good value for the money.

It’s a bit hard to find it when you first arrive (a few signs on the way would be really helpful). The condition of the road that leads to the property is quite bad, but to be fair that’s not their fault. Also, one of the neighbours has heaps of roosters making it a bit hard to sleep sometimes.

The room is spacious, comfortable and clean and there is a covered area in front of it with a table, chairs and a sink. Staff is very friendly.

We need to walk about 500m in a dirty road.
