The smell in the bathroom

What a tranquil gem! It's not the Ritz but we.dont want a posh and expensive hotel, this feels like a home from.home. Set in a huge beautiful.gardwn only five mins walk from.rhe main Alona hussle and bustle, we were delighted to find this place; it's feels like we are in nature. The house is quiet and peaceful despite others and we had a great sleep. Comfy beds, AMAZING pillows on my bed and the air con in our room was priceless and reasonably quiet. Excellent value and with fun, attention and non intrusive staff, our stay was perfect. Thankyou. I stayed with my daughter and we stayed for longer than originally planned.

Shared bathrooms are always going to be slightly challenging but our was OK, hotnwater shower and the despite other guests not being as fussy about clean as we are, it was cleaned and tidied bybstaff daily, we.even got an air freshener :-)

location is a bit out of path way. unpaved Road and dark at night, but very silent.

Garden with a breakfast area are really nice and cozy. The staff was super helpful, Internet was flawless and actually location was good too, just a bit hard to find the first time . Walking distance to Alona Centre was also okay for us - we much prefer to stay out of the noisiest street.

The room was very basic and a bit worn out. The road is actually safe, but it is dark at night and it has never been maintained. Like ever.

Everything is horrible

I travel a lot and I dont have high expectations but this time I feel deceived so I need to describe what happened 1. Dishonest staffs When we arrived, they just gave us a room key without noticing us that the water system was broken. So we had to try everything to figure out what was going on and washed teeth with mineral water that night. Next day I had an opportunity to see them and then they told there was NO WATER. 2. Water system During our stay we didn’t have water so we could not use toilet(no flush) and shower. We had to close very well the bathroom door to sleep cause it started to stink horribly. They explained that short of water was very common in the Island but I could see every public bathroom or resort had water except this place. They provided us mineral water to use to wash, but it didn’t solve soap and it was not enough to flush the toilet… I had to see 💩 of my friend everyday. I had to check out earlier than I expected and I asked them a refund.

The staff

We didnt have water for 3 days, we had shower with a bucket. Then i wanted to rent a bed and they offered me the "mens room" but was actually a private room super expensive. After i paid i discovered they had another "girls room" super cheap each bed and actually was a men on that room and they didnt tell me. The only good thing about this place is the staff super friendly and they do whatever they can to make the things work but its super hard because the place its bad.

Simple room with attached bathroom - very good price. It s a 10 mins walk down a track to the main road, which is partly lit but I was never nervous walking on my own (solo female traveller). Staff were extremely helpful, particularly when there were issues with the water supply.

Roosters and some planes.

Amazing staying. The staff is great and lovely, always smiling and ready to give advice. The rooms are pretty new with aircon. There were power and water issues but everything was fixed in a few hours

There was nothing I didn't like. Something maybe that should be written on the AD. It takes 10 minutes walking (from the main road) in a bumpy and sometimes mouldy path , 20 minutes from Alona beach

Nice, quiet farm stay.

The road leading to the property is difficult to walk after the rain.
