Hospedaje Los Ponchos

I loved the location (very central, just off the main square where the famous market is held and close to shops, bars and restaurants). The room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. I enjoyed a hot shower each day. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was noisy in the mornings with people getting equipment out from under my room to set up their market stalls. However, I used ear plugs after the first night and that fixed the problem.

Hot water with good pressure. Comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious clean rooms. Accommodating host.

The exterior doesn't look too appealing. Small sign above front door.

Wonderful staff, cozy blankets, and a great warm shower. Actually the second time I stayed in Otavalo and pretty close to the center of the city. The room is HUGE too making the value excellent. A wonderful, rustic feel.

Maybe it's because I am a light sleeper, but I woke up in the middle of the night and because of the clanging wheelbarrows and chatter right outside the window, I could not fall back asleep. If not for that, would have been perfect!
