An excellent stay, with great facilities

The lodge is well located near the city center, and the host was so kind and helpful! The room was clean and had everything you could need. The shared facilities like the kitchen and living area were also really nice and clean.

The room and bathroom were a bit small. Also note that it’s a private room in a bigger hostel and it’s located kind of inside the bathroom, so anytime someone showers or uses it you can hear it really loud.

Sandra was very helpful. There were a lot of showers. The common room was spacious and there is outdoor seating with a BBQ. There is a handy room for drying outdoor equipment. Enough space in the kitchen for food storage and fridge space.

Knives and pans in the kitchen could be better.

Clean, good facilities, quiet and relaxing vibe

Parking, limited narrow parking and people parking in spots owners told was ours therefore hard to get in room door etc.

Very clean and comfy small hostel close to the town centre

Booked this last minute, and it is set up in a hostel configuration, but it was clean, well stocked and a good location from which to get picked up for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. They have both bunks and private rooms.

No complaints at all. Great value, clean and good location.
