Great hotel with reasonable price..gives old style haveli vibes.. kind staff, the location is amazing, everything is nearby. Fateh Singh is a great host.. loved his generosity and friendly nature. Do visit Soham Haveli for a great stay in Udaipur.

Water is not provided free of cost and there is no dispenser as well.

It is very clean! The bed and pillows were comfy. Staff were smiley and really helpful. A special thanks to the front desk managers, Prahlad Ji and Fateh Singh Ji for looking after us so well. All the staff work so hard to help make your stay comfortable. Loved the roof top with the plants and pretty lights. You look out across one of the lakes and can see the city palace. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed the walk into the old part of Udaipur with bridges crossing the lakes. It was reasonably quiet for being among home dwellers and nearby restaurants. The street outside was clean.

We arrived late having booked a budget room but realised that despite being clean and the bed comfy, it was very small, the sink was outside the room so other guests could witness you cleaning your teeth and my husband shaving (and no hot water tap), and there is no window in the room. As a bonus, and credit to the managers, we were moved to a bigger room the next day which we were very happy about as we had booked to stay three nights, and ended up being there for four. This room also didn’t have a window but at least it was dark at night time and not too noisy and the washing facilities were private. It didn’t bother us, but there are alot of stairs to climb which wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with poorly knees or difficulty walking. Food and drink options are very limited so we ate out in restaurants but did order morning and evening drinks to our room or on the roof top. Prahlad Ji did say they will extend their menu in the future. None of these are complaints. For a budget stay, it was wonderful!

I liked the hospitality. Mr Prahlad was kind enough to let us stay in one of the rooms even after the check out as we had train in the evening.

The property is beautiful and budget friendly but if they start serving us the dinner, we may not roam around for beautiful lake view while enjoying the dinner. Lunch and dinner facilities should be made available.
