Dambulla City Hostel

Everything was perfect! Clean and beautiful, lovely outdoor area with hammocks and trees. The family who owns the space is super nice. They make you feel at home :) thank you!!

This lovely and welcoming family makes the place! Sharing their home with everyone, always there to answer any questions or bring coffee or tea. Very friendly and warm people, lovely kids. Would definitely come back here!

Nice quiet place within walking distance of centre, restaurants and supermarket. Ranji and his family are the loveliest people, very friendly and helpful.

I absolutely love this hostel. I stayed for two nights and then came back a few weeks later and stayed here again! Ranjit and his family are so welcoming and kind. It is lovely to spend time around them. This is a relaxing place to be. It's also good for grabbing a cheap beer at the nearby supermarket and having a few drinks with fellow travellers. The room is clean and comfortable. It has lockers, indivdual fans and mosquito nets. There's a big outside chilling space. Easy walking distance to the centre. It feels like you're in nature or a peaceful village and not at all in a touristy area. It's a lovely place to spend a few days. My favourite so far in Sri Lanka.

Amazing garden with hammocks and big table where you can share meals with another guests. Nice room, comfortable beds. And very very kind host. In this price I totally can recommend this place.

It was essentially connected to someone’s home so it felt more like a homestay and every night you get back you’re coming “home”. Friendly host, lovely vibes, quiet, and relaxing.

There was no hot water in the dormitory side - but cold water was refreshing during the heat.

I am travelling all over the world for long time and this is the top place so far,the whole family was so helpfull and so friendly, I just felt that I am at home, thank you so much Ranjit you made my days so perfect, hope to see you again .I can just recomment you will never be dissapointed.
