Dambulla City Hostel

a friendly family run beautiful property in Dambulla, easy access to Sigiriya! really helpful people with lots of advice on food and travelling around! 10/10

The hostel is owned by a lovely family! I had a great stay. The location is a bit off the main road but still on walking distance from town. There's a supermarket and some restaurants nearby.

I spent two nights here. So peaceful. The owner is an absolute legend. Very helpful. I spent a day checking out the cave temple and the rest of Dambulla. Main grocery only 5 mins walk away. The kitchen was great to cook my own dishes. Also can do laundry here too. Nice big fan in the room to keep everyone cool at night.

Everything was perfect. Room was with 4 beds, each has locker, own ventilator, mosquito net, toilet was clean, owner is really nice and helpful.

Lovely accomodations, clean rooms, nice and kind people there. And also there is ADORABLE KIDS!! Reasonable price. I made so many great memories from this hostel, absolutely willing to visit again🥰

Little bit far from the city center and bus stand (but only for 15mins by walk)

Most wonderful people work here. Loved the location and the garden is amazing for hanging out.
