Small, but comfortable and very clean room, helpfull staff. Very good for its price.

No glass / mosquito net in windows- there were just openings with shutters.

Nui and her family are such caring and lovely hosts, she does really everything to make yourself at home here.The room was clean, with very comfy beds and a good size for a couple or a solo traveler. Foods and drinks are offered to very fair prices, coffee, tea and water are free and Nuis Pad Thai is amazing! There are not as much options around as on the other side of the island, and you have to make some decent km on a motorbike to get somewhere so be aware of that,, but this is why I loved it so much here! This is not a typical tourist place, and it is charming throughout. Hands down my best stay in Thailand so far. I will definitely come back when I visit Koh Chang a second time.

There was some unpleasant construction noise for the first days from the neighbours, but this is finished by now.

Lovely place with lots of character, the lady who owns the place, Nui, can't do enough for you she's very kind and helpful, she's also a tour guide (and speaks excellent English) so there's lots of trips and things she can help you with. She's also an amazing cook and her pad thai I think is becoming legendary! And yes it really is that good, she also cooked us a great massaman chicken curry and coconut chicken soup on another night and her prices are very reasonable. She organised a scooter for us for a few days at a very good price and went shopping for us when we arrived as we didn't get transport till the following morning. There's an abundance of water supplied every day and tea and coffee to help yourself to anytime and she has 2 cute dogs! Thank you very much for your hospitality Nui.

The location is remote so if you don't have transport you really can't get anywhere otherwise I would have given this place a 10. We did hire a scooter but I didn't enjoy that too much as the island is extremely hilly with lots of hairpin bends which are quite scary if you're not a confident rider. Personally I prefer to stay in areas where I can walk to lots of things or jump on some public transport, which you can do on other parts of the island and which we moved on to after our stay with Nui, so I guess it depends on individual preference what's important on your holiday. There are no taxis on Koh Chang just the open back buses which you flag down on some parts of the island but they don't go anywhere near this property unfortunately, otherwise I would be more than happy to stay again.

The place was very tranquil. Nui and her parents were the best hosts! They made us feel comfortable right at the start. They were so helpful with arranging tours, made renting a scooter very easy for us, and their pad thai was the best we’ve ever had! No exaggeration 🙌 They invited us for dinner to celebrate the Chinese new year, a lovely experience!

It’s a bit far away from the busy part of the island, but renting a scooter makes it very easy to get around.
