Theppahrak Hostel Khaolak

Great host, he sorted AC when wasn’t functioning properly and helped with bike rental when he had run out of bikes by personally dropping me to another hotel that do bikes. Good balcony to dry things and drinkable water available.

Uncomfortable beds, no curtain/privacy around bed. Only one bathroom/toilet for the 6 people in the room.

The staff was very kind and helpful

It was really nice to be in a 4 bed female dorm. They give you a free towel which is so useful, you can then use your own personal one at the beach. It was a 5 minute walk from the night market and 7/11 and a 5 minute drive from where my bus dropped me off. You could book tours to the islands from the main desk that are cheaper than other offers around. I didn't go on one but a girl from the dorm did and she had a brilliant time. The bathroom is a wet room so everything gets wet when you shower, but there is plenty of space to put your stuff while you shower. Good price as well.

It is just off a big main road. The guy running the place wasn't there to let me check in, and didn't respond on his phone very quickly. I saw lots of other people having the same problem when they wanted to ask a question or check in, he wasn't there. Would be nice to have a curtain in the dorms for privacy. It's not very aesthetically pleasing which is not the be all and end all, you do get what you pay for, but I have stayed in other hostels in Thailand which are prettier for the same price.

Super good location in the center of Bang Niang. Quiet and peaceful because it's not on the main road. Small hostel, easy to meet all the other guests and hang out

It was very lovely, the bed, dorm, bathroom was very clean. The staff was very nice if i had any questions i always could reach them out on WhatsApp, the building was safe, downstairs is fridge, microwave, coffee. The location is perfect it was 3 min walk 7/11 , bus stop, food market and plenty of restaurants. Highly recommended

Maybe curtains give more privacy,

The location is really nice. It’s only a few minutes away from the market that’s there every other day and also a 15 minute walk to the beach. The room was really clean and enough space.

The mattresses are really hard and there are also no privacy curtains which made the bed a bit less comfortable. There was no one at the reception when I arrived at 10:30 but I didn’t have to wait long for someone to come.

I work remotely so it was very important to find hight speed internet connection here and stay for longer.
