Hostel Balkan Han

The beds were comfy, everything was clean, and the hostel was walking distance to main attractions. Location was accessible and made it easy to get around. Staff were very nice and helpful as well.

Great beds. The bottom bunks are queen size! The room I had on the first floor (the floor above the kitchen level) was great. The kitchen has a refrigerator. The place is very clean and relaxing. I stayed about 5 days.

There were so many smokers in the outdoor terrace area that I couldn’t use it. It would be nice to have a non-smoking area outside.

Good location, about 10 mins walk to Old Town and close to the bus station. Great staff.

Only 2 showers (1 with a toilet, 1 with a urinal) and a separate toilet for the dorms. The rooms were really close to the kitchen, so could be quite noisy.

The only bad thing i can think off is that i didn’t like the bathrooms - not much privacy. Other than that great hostel.

Accommodated late self check in which was much appreciated! Curtains on the bed, multiple toilets and showers so didn’t find myself waiting, seperate sink from toilet very useful. Kitchen with free coffee. Very good outside area. Able to keep bag there after check out.

Good location, great social atmosphere.

Incredibly annoying owner and staff, were rude and unhelpful attempting to make you feel that any question we was dumb.

Good outdoor and bar common areas for meeting other travelers. Party hostel vibe. Staff were cool.

Although I did extend my stay (was enjoying the vibe here) cleanliness and ventilation needs work.
