Live Free Hostel Varanasi

Super nette Mitarbeiter, tolles Café mit leckerem Frühstück & vielen Angeboten! Für indische Verhältnisse sehr sauber! Immer tolle Dinge organisiert worden, wie die Holi Party und das Community Free Dinner ! Sehr schöner Innenhof ! Super nah am Assi Ghat!

We had such a beautiful stay at LiveFree Hostel! Everything exceeded our expectations! The best things to note was it’s beautiful social areas. They have the ground floor social area, the book room/cozy corner up the stairway to the left of reception & the rooftop which you can see the gange off of! About a 30 min walk to the main ghat (which you can easily also catch a boat to for about 200 rupees person or 100 on a boat with more people, but the walk is gorgeous), and a little further to the burning. The hostel is tucked in a beautiful little laneway which has such a nice vibe as well. We spent holi here and it did not disappoint! So much fun! Also a VERY honourable mention! Devang and all the staff really made our stay! Devang took a group of us down to the burning and it was such a beautiful evening! He will ensure your stay is comfortable, fun and his stories are such a laugh! We made some lovely friends here too! Overall LiveFree was 10/10 and we will be back! Thank you all ⭐️

The staff is really amazing n helpful .Talking about the place ...Good location, luggage storage, and available amenities like scooters for rental even e cycle .

The best place to stay in Varanasi! Close to the Assi ghat. Superpositive and helpful people. I stayed in dormitory which provides good beds, quiet nights and good shower. Kitchen also really good. And enjoyed the tour of exploring Varanasi. Stayed in another hostel later but moved back to (the quality of) Live Free Varanasi.

The location and ambience

The staff and reception should provide what customers have asked for. There was delay in providing the room services despite reminding them twice

The staff are so warm and friendly, will help you with anything. They arranged a walking tour of the ghats then a boat tour, was so reasonably priced and best way to see/learn about varanasi. Food was delicious. Nice communal area. Room was clean, spacious, hot water, free soap, good air con. Booked us an early taxi to the airpor.

I have absolutely no complaints just honest recommendation. We had to ask to change our room as there was some construction going on at the side we were on, our room seemed to be an annex to the main building and not as nice as the other rooms. They changed us absolutely problem and the new room was perfect, peaceful. I'd recommend asking to switch if you find yourself in the annex room at the back.

La ubicación pues podía caminar diario para ver el Aarti, la limpieza de la habitación, y los alrededores que son seguros para caminar de noche o madrugada.

No poder abrir las ventanas por los mosquitos pero eso no tiene nada que ver con el hostel

Great vibe, great courtyard and common area. Clean and spacious.

I had a great stay here. The location right next to Assi Ghat couldn’t be better, the staff were always helpful, and the café area served delicious food and was a lovely place to hang out. My room was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Would happily stay again.
