"A great stay with a wonderful view and hosts to match."

The lodge has beautiful character, it’s really well furnished and has a homely vibe, whilst giving off a sense of history from the nearby slate quarry. The staff there are lovely and really make you feel at home, serving a delicious breakfast and offering a homemade pack lunch. A perfect nights stay for anyone looking to get out climbing or hiking in the local area.

The hosts, Simon and Sonni, were amazing—I felt so welcomed from the moment I arrived. The facilities were impeccably clean and had everything you could need. As it was my first time staying in a hostel, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I felt very comfortable throughout. Simon’s food was excellent and really hit the spot after a long run.
