Unglaublich schönes Hostel mit Wohlfühlcharakter! Alles war sauber, die Betten sehr bequem. Das Frühstück und Abendessen wirklich sehr lecker. Auf meine Ernährungswünsche (Laktoseintoleranz) wurde sofort eingegangen. Die Eigentümer sind unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es war sofort klar: Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!!! Die nächste Reise ist schon gebucht.

Hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden!

Great location and heartwarming history of the lodge itself. Extremely pleasant hosts with only two of us staying at the time cooked us both dinner and breakfast.

Prime location for hikers, climbers, nature and history lovers. Very well maintained, clean with great parking. Views are spectacular.

Oh, this place really was amazing, I am so grateful to Sonni for being so welcoming, friendly, courteous, helpful, and overall amazing. It was my very first time staying at a hostel, and I was really nervous, but I felt at home straight away. Starting with a message from Sonni on the day of arrival, providing instructions - all comms were great. Then, the hostel is super cosy - very warm, very clean, everything was tidy, everything was signposted, everything working. Anything I didn't know, Sonni was there to help with. Beds were very comfy, lights were all working, heating was on when it was needed, dehumidifier in the hallways for wet clothes, lots of space to dry wet towels and clothes. But best of all is Sonni herself - the host - always ready to help with anythig and everything and made me feel at home and at ease straight away. Massive thank you for everything!

I would generally say nothing, becuase it was really amazing, but if I have to be picky, I'll say this (and it is not at all any fault of the hosts, but more communal livign in general): In the everning, becuase there are so many people in the room, nobody wanted to turn off the lights, as everyone was thinking somebody might still need it, whilst others were already asleep, or using lights in their bunks. Perhpas there should be a general 'lights off' time set? Some people left showers slightly untidy sometimes - maybe a notice to wipe off the surfaces, and some desinfectant wipes could be nice to have. But really, this would already be way, way above what is needed. Finally, for me, as I was relying on public transport, the buses were rather rare, and connections with Llanberis and Bangor, for me, were difficult. So perhaps not the best place for people using public transport, although I simply walked to the nearest other bus stop, instead of waiting for the bus (bus stop for a direct bus to Bangor is probably about 40 min walk away, and I didn't mind it). These are just such minor things - overall, everything really was fantastic.

Breakfast was phenomenal. The hosts were incredibly helpful and nice. Solo female trip relying on public transport. They connected me with a fellow traveller who was able to give me a lift to the start of the snowdon walk. When I didn't return to the accommodation by dinner time, she checked with me to ensure I was doing alright. Location is picturesque. Beds comfy and clean - although you are just going to be pretty knackered after all the hiking, so it honestly wouldn't matter!

If you are travelling by public transport, you will need to plan carefully to stay here. Read the time tables and be prepared to walk if the bus is missed. If you are travelling as a group, you can rent a taxi and split the fare, so it would not be a problem :)

I had a fantastic stay with my expectations exceed. Breakfast was great, and check in was simple. The bedside charging socket and table was really useful too.

Stunning location. Ideal venue for Marathon Eryri. Always a good group of fellow lovers of the mountains
