Love the proximity to airport - the shuttle servie - and watching the planes from the great view of hostel - even made a tiktok video at place. https://www.tiktok.com/@francine.long/video/7227505096618249478 the great people working at hostel - and the breakfast was delicious. Nice showers/facility, dark room, and bed was very comfortable.

I booked this place now once for me and for my friend to stay as he was flying in to Guatemala City. It's very convenient inbetween airport + other Guatemala destinations. The staff is excellent - offering shuttles from airport. Breakfast is offered - the view of the city I like. could watch the planes from airport all day. I like that there is option for private transportation from hostel.

it’s a bit outside of the city center therefore you need to take a Uber to get anywhere downtown. I felt very safe though the night I spent there and walking a bit around the day was fine!

I booked Life Builders as I just wanted to stay one night in Guatemala City. The close distance to the aitport makes it very easy to continue your travel from there (many shuttles to Lake Atitlan and Antigua start from Zona 13 or the airport). Eduardo the host is super welcoming and nice. He helped me and others with finding an ATM, a SIM card and dropped me where my shuttle picked me up. I felt home right from the beginning. The setup of the hostel is so cute. It s super clean and comfortable. Also you have a beautiful view from there over Guatemala City and you can see how airplanes approach the airport. It was great. Thanks for having me 🥰✨️ PS: when you arrive it does not look as all the hostels i ve been to before (no big sign, reception or anything, don t wonder). It really is more like going home to someone - what made it even more special to me.

close to the airport, this hostel funds and supports widows and children. We like hostels so the shared bathroom was perfect for us. the view from the balcony of the city was great. the rooms were cozy with a twin/queen bunk bed along with a single bed. they have a shared kitchen where we paid a very reasonable amount for Eduardo to cook us scrambled, eggs, fruit, refried beans, coffee and a smile. Eduardo met us when we arrived in the evening and took us to the airport for a small very reasonable fee in the morning.

the price was really great and it is a hostel style. some that are not used to hostels might not appreciate it like we did.
